The moment I realized PlugBrain is not only for kids

The padlock from a tablet moves to a phone and asks a harder sum, 38 + 25, while feed cards fade out above the phone.

I built PlugBrain for my son. I never thought it was for me.

Then one evening I looked up from my phone. An hour was gone. I couldn’t remember a single thing I had seen.

It happened again the next day. And the next.

I tried the usual fixes. I put the phone in another room. I went back to reading books. I switched to Olauncher, a minimal launcher that made my home screen quiet and plain.

Each one helped a little. But my thumb still knew the way.

So I did something I hadn’t planned. I installed my son’s app on my own phone.

The first sums were easy. After a long scroll, they weren’t. A few times, I just put the phone down instead.

That’s when I understood. PlugBrain wasn’t a kids’ app. It was a pause, for anyone who needs one.
